Umpires make a difference in the quality of baseball played in the Cheltenham Little League (CLL). We want every umpire to have the training, information, clothing, equipment, and support they need to be comfortable and effective.

CLL provides volunteer umpires to the Minor and Major divisi

ons in both Softball and Baseball. Younger divisions don’t need umpires and older divisions have paid umpires.

Please Note!

Umpires are not permitted inside the snack stand.  If you need water for your water bottle or a drink after a game, please go to the counter and ask.

It is important to drink water during you games.  However, because of the expense, we cannot supply free water (in the pre-pack bottles) to umpires.  Please buy them or bring a water bottle and they will gladly fill it for you at the snack stand.  If you need a water bottle, there are usually a number of them left over or lost and left with the snack stand.  Ask Bruce if you can have one of them.
